Thanks to our placement student Julia, we have some amazing vintage photos to share of fancy dress costumes through the last few decades. Fascinating, as we had underestimated just how long children have been dressing up in the same themed costumes that we are selling today!

Not quite as extravagant as a Frilly Lily Bee Outfit, with our very full skirts and layers of net – which would certainly have only been for the very wealthy in the 1900’s. We thought these Butterfly costumes were stunning , some clever crafter has spent hours creating the wings, and the two little girls look as though they appreciate all the effort.
